Ortho-Bionomy (c) Techniques that are appropriate and safe for the intense pain or anxious client. Ortho-Bionomy (c) is done while clothed. Often it can bring clients to a quiet state while the work is performed.

Myofascia Release / Structural Integration:  Working with the fascia allows room for the muscle to expand for relaxation. This work is quite intense. It rides the line with just enough and too much. Fascia work is done with direct contact with the skin and little to no lotion.

Cupping / Scraping:

Cupping is a good resource for stuck tissue. This work often leaves marks on the skin which can take 5-10 days to clear out. Extra water will assist in returning the skin to a normal color.

Scraping is used effectively on scar tissue, plantar fasciitis, and frozen shoulder. Additionally, a recent surgery or long term injury would benefit with a scraping technique to break up scar tissue. Color changes to the skin also apply.

Traditional massage techniques: Swedish massage, Pin and Stretch, Strain / Counter Strain, Active and Passive Stretching are all part of my combination work to coax the muscle and fascia tissue to relax, bringing relief to my clients.

Other skills:

Reduce and/or Remove Inflammation

Ease Anxiety

Blend of any or all of the various techniques is often applied to overcome any resistance within the tissue.
